Matte Finish On Metal

If you don't like your jewelry shiny and prefer a more matte finish, you can use a scotch bright! Just take a small piece of fine scotch bright and gently rub it against your jewelry piece. Make sure to go around the stone to avoid any scratches.

* Be aware that you *cannot* use this method on any gold filled or plated metal (such as gold or silver plated). It will scratch the surface color.
