How To Preserve The Oxidization

I love oxidized jewelry. I think the contrast between the yellow gold and the black is so appealing and charming. It also gives the jewelry a really cool and unique character. 

However, maintaining this look is not that simple. The oxidization tends to fade or become lighter over time. The good news is, there are a few things you can do to help preserve this look as long as possible.

Avoid water -  I recommend taking your jewelry off before washing your hands or taking a shower... keep them off before you take a quick dip in the pool or the ocean.. Take those beauties off and put them in a plastic or a fabric bag somewhere safe and secure.

Keep them away from chemicals - I also recommend taking your jewelry off when you are cleaning the house or using any chemicals. 

Put your lotion or perfume on before putting on your jewelry - After you apply your lotion or perfume, wait a few minutes, make sure it's all absorbed into your skin before putting your jewelry on.
